On October, will start operating the phytozoosanitary inspection and verification services site, with which Progreso will attract new cargo that is currently moved through ports that provide this kind of inspection.

Progreso is qualified for moving perishable products by the Sanitary and Customs Authority, which benefits directly the programming of the arrival of new shipping companies interested in managing refrigerated products in Progreso.

This service will provide the State of Yucatan and its area of influence of:

1. Sanitary facilities of Federal character in the Portuary Facilities.
2. Encourage the flow of animal and vegetable products.
3. Encourage the reception of cargos that currently are moved through the in-land border and alternative ports.
4. Will diversify the cargo managed in Progreso.
5. Increase the refrigerated container cargo volume substantially.
