National Markets
Central Mexico, as well as the northwest
and the Gulf of Mexico basin are attractive
markets, because they have advantages due
to the low cost of the maritime freights,
compared to the one offered by ground transportation.
International Markets
Imports to and exports from the Peninsula
to other markets are attractive, as well
as the establishment of maquiladora plants,
industry that has had an accelerated growth
in the past few years, due to the economic
advantages and the geographical location
of the Peninsula. The development of the
tourist industry is also important and has
great potential.
